SURFACE CONTACT / TUBE CONTACT TEMPERATURE SENSOR THERMASGARD® ALTF1
The THERMASGARD ® ALTF 1 surface/tube contact temperature measuring transducer is an electric contact thermometre for surface temperature measuring on solids, having at least one so-called contact area that is brought into contact with the surface to be measured.The ALTF 1 with connecting cable and passive output determines the temperature of a medium flowing inside a pipe (e.g. the water temperature) by measuring the surface temperature. For tube contact, the ALTF 1 resistance thermometre includes a strap and an axial sensor tube. It is used for temperature detection on piping and tubes (e.g. cold and hot water), or on heating lines for heating system control.
