The Modbus Gateway G15 enables data transmission between LAN hosts and serial devices by converting Modbus protocols (Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII). It is intended to be used in networks but not only. Apart from extending the capabilities of industrial devices, they can be also adapted to the user’s requirements and needs. The G15 offers two transmission modes: Gateway and Router. In Gateway mode, the port is used for communication with Slave devices, while in Router mode, it communicates with Master devices. Different modes can be set independently on each port. The G15 device features 2x RS232 and 2x RS485 ports, RJ45 Ethernet socket, and supports data transmission speeds up to 115200 bps. It is based on an STM32 microcontroller, operates on a 12–30 VDC power supply, and stands out for its low power consumption of less than 1W.
